Celebrities who have supported Daisy UK

Daisy UK has been fortunate to receive coverage and support from a number of different television and radio channels. Theses appearances on a variety of television and radio programmes have given both Daisy UK staff and the young people we work with a chance to meet a number of celebrities who have taken an interest in the work we do.

Kym Marsh is a singer and actress who rose to fame after winning a place in the group Hear'say after entering the ITV talent show "Popstars". She then continued on to have a successful solo singing career and then made her move into acting. Her most well known acting role is the character of Michelle Connor in Coronation Street. Kym met with Daisy UK's managing director Dave Kelly to present him with an award to recognise the work he does.

Sam and Mark are a duo who rose to fame via Pop Idol. They are now popular presenters hosting such shows as Copy Cats and "Sam and Mark's Big Friday Windup" as well as appearing as guests on shows such as "Dancing on Ice". Sam and Mark came to visit Daisy as part of the "Sports Relief does glee club" special shown during BBC's Sports relief campaign.

Bill Tarmey is best known for playing the well loved character of Jack Duckworth on the television soap opera Coronation Street. This picture was taken after an awards ceremony where Bill was the guest speaker.
