The long arm of the law reached out to young disabled and non-disabled people at Daisy UK, but thankfully they shook hands and gave them a hug.
Wonderful officers from the British Transport Police popped in to say hello as well as showing our disabled and non-disabled young people and staff their police car, sirens and lights.
Some of the visually impaired youngsters could actually see the flashing blue lights as they shone in the darkness.
The officers let them sit in the police car and let them imagine what it would be like to be a police officer once they grow up; fighting crime and protecting the vulnerable.
A practical joke was played on one of Daisy’s staff Maddie Broadhurst as she arrived, the police handcuffed her and put her in the back of the police car. After the initial shock, she burst out laughing and was positively proud that she was being arrested 🙂
