Disability Hate Crime Workshop


Daisy Inclusive UK is hosting a Disability Hate Crime workshop at the Daisy Nucleus Academy (DNA), 2 Barnes Street, Everton, Liverpool, L6 5LB on Monday 7th August 2017 from 10am until 3pm. Costs are £25.00 per person, which includes lunch and refreshments.

This workshop will give you the information and knowledge required to address the problem that is disability hate crime. It will help you to understand and recognise incidents of disability hate crime, while informing about methods of intervention and support mechanisms.

The workshop covers:

  • Understanding what can lead to hate crime.
  • How to recognise incidents of disability hate crime.
  • Methods of intervention and support.
  • Communication development (a tool for change).
  • Reporting incidents of hate crime.
