Looking back – Whit Half Term Review

This half term, we have had a great time and lots of fun with the youngsters.
See below for the picture gallery of the week.

The first day of our whit week half term club, we played ‘getting to know you games’ which brought new kids together to form friendships what made the sports activities more exciting as competition was on the table as we played dodge ball and bulldog. After lunch we played a big game of rounders followed by an adrenalised race in the sport wheelchairs. We also took the young people to a trampoline session working in partnership with Anfield sport centre.

On the second day of half term club, we played silly party games such as grannies footsteps where the people playing the game had to creep up on the ‘granny’ behind her/his back and when she turned to face FREEZE! Also, we played the classic party game musical statues. After lunch had been scoffed up, we played wheelchair based games. Such as relay races followed by guiding people through a minefield of cones as they were blindfolded, we rounded off the day and the half term with a game of dodge ball.

This whit week club was enjoyed by the staff especially by the young people who attended as we played games in a calm and friendly environment throughout the two days.

Please keep your eyes pealed for our Summer Activity Club 🙂 Information will be coma available in the nex few weeks.
