During October half term Daisy Inclusive UK held a Spooktacular scheme for young people to take part in a variety of activities including pumpkin carving, lantern making, trampolining, baking, finger puppets and much more. The enthusiasm was infectious and all the children were engaged, entertained and from the feedback seemed to thoroughly enjoy their half term. The children also took part in a variety of inclusive sports such as wheelchair racing, boccia, goal ball and curling, some of which they had not taken part in before, however thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The week culminated in a party complete with halloween themed games and food such as dracula cakes, jelly worms, creepy cupcakes and fangtastic cookies all made by the children themselves and went down a treat. A big thank you to all the parents, carers and young people who took part in the week of Spooktacular events and a special thank you to the Liverpool Lantern Company for their workshop the Daisy team look forward to seeing you all again soon.
