Volunteering at Daisy Inclusive UK is a rewarding and pleasurable opportunity, whether you want to help and support disabled young people, deliver sports coaching, help develop business and media strategies, fund raising or even work on our allotment.
We have plenty of volunteering opportunities available throughout the year.

Volunteers need to have:

  • Care, Compassion and Empathy
  • Enthusiasm
  • Reliability
  • Good communication
  • Flexible attitude to types of tasks that may be required within the role
  • Respect for the organisation’s policies
  • A willingness to participate in relevant and appropriate training in order to carry out the duties required of the role

  • Allotment Volunteer

    Purpose of Role:
    To work on the allotment growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables to support our community. Carrying out general maintenance jobs that are within your ability, recording jobs you have done in the Allotment journal, and following instructions from your supervisor.

    Location:
    Old Swan, Wharncliffe Allotment, L13

    Tasks:
    Carry out tasks set by the Supervisor i.e. planting/weeding/harvesting
    Reporting any problems/hazards to your Supervisor immediately
    Seeking help and information when necessary
    Keeping the Allotment clear and tidy and free from safety hazards

    Volunteers need to have:

  • Previous knowledge would be wonderful but if not an interest in growing and wanting to learn is just as valuable.
  • Care, Compassion and Empathy
  • Enthusiasm
  • Reliability
  • Good communication
  • Flexible attitude to types of tasks that may be required within the role
  • Respect for the organisation’s policies
  • A willingness to participate in relevant and appropriate training in order to carry out the duties required of the role

  • Marketing & PR Opportunity

    Purpose of Role:
    To develop projects around business development, marketing and PR.

    Location:
    The Daisy Nucleus Academy (DNA), 2 Barnes Street, L6 5LB (Find us)

    Tasks:
    Research new disability related initiatives in sport, education and employment
    Project development, Bid writing

    Volunteers need to have:

  • Management experience
    Previous knowledge in business development would be valuable.
  • Care, Compassion and Empathy
  • Enthusiasm
  • Reliability
  • Good communication
  • Flexible attitude to types of tasks that may be required within the role
  • Respect for the organisation’s policies
  • A willingness to participate in relevant and appropriate training in order to carry out the duties required of the role
